DIY Made to Measure Shade Sail

Please note: It is recommended that the Made to Measure Shade Sails are washed by hand, however, they can be cleaned on a low hand wash or cashmere setting on the washing machine without damaging the UV or waterproof coating. The ready made shade sails cannot be machine washed.

Final word from the owner of Clara Shade Sails

Before Clara Shade Sails existed, our very first shade sail was actually purchased to help reduce the heat in our own conservatory. The quality of that original sail wasn’t great, but it showed us what was possible, and a new company was formed! By working closely with our supplier, we developed a much higher-quality product, and the difference has been incredible.

Using our own Clara shade sails, we transformed a beautiful but unbearably hot, bright, and sticky room into a space that has genuinely become the heart of our home. As a family, we now use our conservatory for reading, socialising, listening to music, and even working out.

We also discovered an unexpected bonus: in winter, the room stays a few degrees warmer than it used to. It wasn’t something we initially planned for, but it has definitely become a standout benefit.
